What is FrostWire
FrostWire is an open source peer-to-peer file sharing client built from the well known LimeWire client that handles Gnutella protocol and BitTorrent protocol. The FrostWired is written by a community of developers.

Features of FrostWires
FrostWire has many functionality of free and pro version of LimeWire. On top of that, It contains no pop-ups, no nag screens, no inhibiting features. User would not get bombarded by ads. In addition, FrostWire users do not have to worry about simultaneous download restrictions.
FrostWire has some new features. It comes with friendly online chatroom. However, certain LimeWire features such as the instant messenger are not available in FrostWire.
FrostWire connections are encrypted with TLS by default unless it is disabled in the preferences. More connections can be made using FrostWire client now.
FrostWire uses BitTorrent engine developed by Azureus technology. Before this, a simplified version of LimeWire’s BitTorrent engine was used.
You can now share file between your Adroid FrostWire client and desktop computers running it through wireless connection. You do not have to preconfigure either device. The connection is established automatically if these devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
FrostWire is now compatible with iTune.
